"Should I bother playing MHWilds OBT2?" All they're doing is adding another monster, but it's still the terrible, old, buggy, poor performance build from before. Seriously, why bother? The game will be out a couple of weeks after the beta.

You should play it! If for no other reason than to continue customizing your character to get it perfect.

I don't want to waste time when the game drops messing around with the character creator. I always got caught up with that in past titles. I would spend an hour or more, then just give up and say, "that's good enough" and start playing. Then notice something about the character's look wasn't quite right, but it's too late.

I really like that Capcom let us do this early so we can jump right in on launch day and not fiddle around with the character creator.

Another reason, if you haven't done so already, see if your favorite weapon's move-set is as good, better or worse than the game you just came from.

This will also give you a chance to test other weapons before the game drops.

I would like to play around with the Light Bowgun more and get used to the moves, start building up my muscle memory for this new iteration of the weapon.
